THE JUNK SUZY WONG – Traditional Chinese Junk BRIEF OVERVIEW A beautifully crafted vintage Chinese Junk named Suzy Wong, her sail lit up with sophisticated projection, glides across waterways, rivers and harbours past residents, pedestrians, festival goers, picnickers or guests attending a function. Her traditional Chinese sails provide the ideal surface for exquisite projection while crystal clear sound wafts from her decks across the water. Video content for any event or product can be accommodated on this mobile floating film platform. A series of portraits of people or evocative films and messages responding to themes specifically required by the client come to life on this absolutely unique vessel. Shot in both colour and black and white, utilizing both still and moving image. The JUNK creates a beautiful and thought provoking picture as she glides majestically through the water. Audiences can experience an intimate show from 20 minutes up to an hour as the JUNK dances along the water, making a series of turns and circling in close to the shore. The performance can be layered with live singing and movement creating shadows within the projected image.
